By using The Mat's services, facilities, website, or mobile app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About Us
MFJD LLC ("The Mat," "we," "us") operates The Mat Menifee, a laundromat and coffee bar located in Menifee, California.
2. Services
We offer wash & fold laundry services, self-service laundry, pickup and delivery, and coffee bar services. Services, hours, and pricing are subject to change without notice.
3. Text Messaging Program
By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive automated text messages from The Mat regarding your orders, appointments, and occasional promotions. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. 4. Payments
All payments are processed securely through Clover. All sales are final unless otherwise stated. Wash & fold services are charged by weight; final pricing is determined at time of service.
5. User Conduct
You agree to use our facilities and services lawfully, to treat staff and other customers with respect, and not to damage equipment or property. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these standards.
6. Liability Limitation
The Mat is not responsible for items left unattended in our facility. We exercise reasonable care with laundry entrusted to us but are not liable for pre-existing damage, color bleeding, or shrinkage caused by the nature of the garment. Our liability for any damaged item is limited to 10 times the cost of cleaning that item. Use of self-service equipment is at your own risk.
7. Pickup & Delivery
For pickup and delivery services, you agree to have laundry available at the agreed time and location. The Mat is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control. Proof of pickup and delivery (including photos) may be collected for quality and security purposes.
8. Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use our online services.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Riverside County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. You waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action lawsuit.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
